Great view of the vanity hatch :)
Nice for those who haven't been there to see what it realy looks like.
By the way, thank you very much Kevin Spacey, for taking the time to come down and open the hatch and meet your fans after every performance, I know it is very appreciated by all of us.
The vanity is something you can let the newspapers take care of :)
So you've deserted Videoegg for ifilm, well it is interesting how many places there are tha can be used for up loading videos.
I'll use you as my tehcnical guide for what to use ;)
Thanks a lot for this new video, it was great fun.

Oh, thanks for the 4th blog! Finally we got it :) Kevin you are so bountiful, no doubt! I believe it was a wonderful night having President Bill Clinton there (whis I could meet him too, ah!)And I can see how big delight felt Eve meeting him! The same what we feel meeting Kevin and of course the rest of the cast. Best wishes for all of you!! and keep the blogs coming, please.
Kevin, you looked hot at the hatch uh!

Dear Kevin,
*ahem* Please stop being so unbelieveably gorgeous. I don't think I can stand it any longer.
No wait, don't...
Ok, do, only don't stop completely. Perhaps just wear like a potato sack instead of the cool clothes you normally wear.
Well, you'd probably still look cute in a potato sack, come to think of it...
Avoid pinstripes, anyway. They're drool inducing. Jeans are okay, but only if they're too big for you. And uhh...your hats are cute, but your head is cuter. So you should wear hats often...ugly ones.
Hell, who am I to tell you what to do? Keep doing your thing, you beautiful man.;)

alright, back to reality. :)
i just saw that you are hosting these vids on your website now. so i was wondering how the purposes devide between here and www.oldvictheatre.com. what are you making of the feedback feature that exists here? does anybody actually read these? since it had been implemented here, it semed as if you agreed to having it, but since you did not implement it on your website (which is probably not so easy to do), i start wondering.
hope you dont have trouble with these :(

re: my previous comment
mr. spacey,
i think its safe to say that i completely misunderstood your comments about people demanding cappuccinos...
sorry. when it comes to getting jokes, i am sometimes very slow...
(in my defense, its a cultural thing; where i live, you enter the coffee shop. you dont get your coffee through a window. THAT only works with fish.)
that or my mind is too much in the gutter lately.
sorry again. :)
have a nice evening,
christine

It's very nice to come home from a hospital stay and take a trip to London in the same week! These films are great fun and a welcome lift. Blessings, Joanie

Well..,here I am again Kevin....I am just loving watching these videos. The fourth one is particularly great. Bill Clinton meets the cast no less!
But of course, I enjoy seeing you all the time....and Colm Meaney is wonderful too!
I hope that you are reading all of these comments and it is my hope of course that in so doing there is a gentle reminder here (when you realise who I am) that you still have not contacted me personally to let me know what you thought of my book 'Divine Timing'.....I have looked forward to a letter/email for over a year now. I will not give up hope (even though you are incredibly busy) that one day soon I shall have my 'red letter day' and hear just how much you appreciated receiving a signed copy of my autobiography. I admire you very much Kevin and just knowing that you have a copy of my book means a great deal to me, however receiving some form of acknowledgement from you would mean the world to me......I remain patiently yours,
Carol Leslie

Kevin,
Thank you for making the video for your fans around the world. Seeing Bill Clinton in the video is a huge bonus! Love the "hatch" scene. I was there a few times myself. Thank you for coming down and giving autographs after EVERY performance. We really appreciate it. I look forward to coming back to the Old Vic very soon.

The Big Bill Clinton story and Lester at Mr.Smiley's...
"Poor people have very rich lives" MyAss...
Unexpected it was, this video #4
How snooty it all appeared. Ooh Bill Clinton, ooh kevin behind a door 'cause he can't be out with the people...
Yeah, just my spontaneous reactions... :P
Sorry, but honest comments aren't ok?
Posted by: EVA | 11/05/2006 at 11:37 PM
Okay, sorry folks but had to do it.
My dear Eva:
'"Poor people have very rich lives" MyAss...'
I found this remark in very poor taste. Are you saying that because I don’t have much money that I cannot lead a rich life? Are you saying that people with money lead richer lives than me just by virtue of the fact that they have wealth? Well lah-dee-dah. Hey honey, kiss mine, okay?
"How snooty it all appeared. Ooh Bill Clinton, ooh kevin behind a door 'cause he can't be out with the people..."
I found absolutely nothing snooty at all about this video. In fact, I found it utterly charming. And I have experienced that “door” first hand and let me tell you all, it is a wonderful idea no matter what the reason was for it’s installation. It is quite a personal and intimate experience—no one reaching across you to hand Kevin something to sign—no one listening in to your little conversation—no one but you and him for the brief few moments that you have his attention. I found the experience exhilarating. What do you want? Do you feel you have to give him a bear hug or rub up against him? Grow up.
"Yeah, just my spontaneous reactions... :P
Sorry, but honest comments aren't ok?"
Honest comments are fine. That’s why I’ve added mine. Hope you don’t mind. :P

You tell her Joanne!!!!
Posted by: stratcat43 | 11/06/2006 at 06:50 PM
Hey! It was just my reactions, and your replies are reactions to mine.
I was referring to what Clinton said about the play "Poor people have very rich lives" , and in my opinion the play has nothign to do with THAT. Clinton didn't get the play if he says "Poor people have very rich lives". I didn't elaborate much. But maybe you should'a thought about what ELSE it might mean and not assume i was talking about "Are you saying that people with money lead richer lives than me just by virtue of the fact that they have wealth? Well lah-dee-dah. Hey honey, kiss mine, okay? " - That's just rude, i wasn't attacking anyone, and now you're attacking me. God, have you people NO sense of humor!?
Besides all other comments above we're just plain ass kissing.
And what can be seen as charming can in another brighter light very well be seen as snooty! If you can look at in a humorous way!
And it is kinda silly to be behind a door, wtf is that for? It is kinda like a royalty standing on a balcony waving to the people, out of reach. And no, i feel no need to rub up agains mr.spacey LOL. But you obviously do, now i know why he has that hatch!!!!! I wouldn't even wait in line to get an autograph from someone behind a door!
And IF you saw teh end of the vodeo you saw the door slam so loudly it was nothing but snooty, but humorous snooty "no more now"! Did you people see the same video i saw!!?? LOL
GET a sense of humor!!!!!!!!!

One - Kevin doesn't have to be sharing these videos at all.
Two - The videos are to be showing "what's happening at the Old Vic" behind the scenes.
Three - I've read several different fan accounts of the play. None are exactly alike. So just because Clinton's view was different from your's doesn't make his wrong.
Four - Prior to "the hatch" Kevin had to sign autographs while holding open the door and fans were all around him making it difficult. With "the hatch", he has a ledge to write on and everyone lines up actually in a line - it's more organized. He is also allowing one on one pictures, where before he wasn't. And if he didn't want to be "out around the people" he wouldn't go to The Pit Bar afterwards where a good many of his fans go too.
Frankly, these are fun, sharing videos and most of you are taking them way too seriously.

"Frankly, these are fun, sharing videos and most of you are taking them way too seriously."
You're absolutely right, Strat.
These are far too much fun to fight over. I got annoyed and spouted off quickly. I apologize to Eva and anyone else I may have offended. Peace!

Hi,
Just wanted to thank everyone at the Vic for putting these videos out there. It's all very technical for me.....took me an age to figure out how to make a comment!!!
A note to Kevin....thank you for being such a great entertainer and giving your fans the opportunity to meet you. I have met you several times so far, and have every intention of coming down to the theatre as often as I can.
Keep up the good work Kevin, you are simply fabulous, oh, and beautiful!!!!
